LUCIA THALLAS
Director
LUCIA THALLAS was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and she currently lives in Arizona. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Grand Canyon University in 2022. However, her passion for creativity, organization, and connecting people has guided her career in the event industry. From hosting childhood tea parties to planning large events with over 1,500 attendees, she has always had a talent for making connections and creating memorable experiences
Isabella and Lucia were two years and two days apart in age, celebrating every birthday together, which led many to believe they were twins. They were inseparable until tragedy struck when Lucia lost her older sister, Bella, to a senseless act of gun violence. Rather than letting grief define her, Lucia found purpose by joining her father, Josh, and stepmother, Tiffany, at the Isabella Joy Thallas Foundation. Lucia works to honor Isabella’s memory by promoting hope and supporting others. The foundation’s mission is to remember Isabella for her joy, kindness, and love rather than for the tragedy of her loss.
Lucia devotes herself to helping families impacted by gun violence, raising awareness, and fostering kindness. Her unwavering determination and compassion have already made a significant difference, motivating countless others to collaborate in her cause.
As a Director on the Executive Board of the Isabella Joy Thallas Foundation, Lucia brings her passion, experience, and leadership skills to everything she undertakes. She believes in the power of community, remembrance, and transforming grief into a driving force for positive change. Her work is a tribute to her sister and a commitment to making the world a better place.
